Age of Magic is a turn based RPG set in a shattered fantasy world where magic and war collide. The story follows Roland the True Mage on his quest to reach the Dark Tower while darkness slowly consumes the universe. There’s this whole Dragon Prophecy thing about a True Mage determining the fate of everything. You also get to play through other character stories like Sharazar, a changeling assassin who’s pretty ruthless.

Combat is classic turn based strategy where you build a team of 5 heroes and take turns attacking enemies. You gotta think about who goes when and which abilities to use. There’s over 60 heroes to collect from different races like Elves, Demons, Druids, Dragonkin, Kobolds and more weird fantasy creatures. Each hero has unique abilities you can upgrade and they wear different armor and weapons you find.

Campaign mode takes you through the main story with tons of battles and missions. PvP Arena lets you fight other players daily to climb rankings. There’s also weekly Tournaments where you compete over 24 hours for rewards. Tomb of Horrors and Valley of Treasures are special challenge modes with tougher enemies protecting better loot. Events pop up regularly with unique bosses.

You level up heroes, upgrade their gear, increase their star rarity, and improve abilities to make them stronger. Team composition matters a lot since some heroes combo well together.
