You cannot beat missions without paying for upgrades because fires spread too quickly to control using strategy alone. Building upgrades take two to three days to complete, and you’re completely stuck during that time regardless of your tactical approach. Recent updates introduced stealth difficulty increases that eliminated the casual quick-play appeal, with missions now taking up to fifteen minutes each. The unit management interface is terrible—when units group together, you can’t distinguish cutters from firefighters, causing constant equipment swaps and mission failures. Despite reaching level 1029, players report receiving no special rewards or unlocked features for their significant time investment. The pay-to-win walls and interface problems overshadow what could be an engaging emergency management game.
