Combat uses cover mechanics where you position heroes behind barriers and swap between them in real-time to use their abilities. Heroes wield sniper rifles, energy guns, swords, shotguns, and energy cannons, each with distinct playstyles. Special abilities can turn battles—deploy devastating attacks, healing support, or defensive buffs depending on your squad composition. After battles you loot gear, level up heroes, upgrade abilities, and perfect loadouts. The Lab lets you craft and promote heroes using materials collected from missions.

Multiplayer includes real-time PvP where you face other players’ squads in tactical combat, climbing leaderboards and leagues. Co-op missions let you team up with friends for boss raids and daily events. Gauntlet Mode and Survival Mode provide different challenge types, while Alliance Wars bring competitive team play. The game has gone through three different owners and shows its age—constant repetitive gameplay with power creep where leveling becomes a tedious grind rather than meaningful progression. New hero releases happen occasionally with only three-day windows to obtain them. Game frequently desynchronizes from servers causing crashes that lose raid tokens and progress. Support is unresponsive, taking weeks without replies. Updates introduce bugs regularly, and the player base is shrinking as quality decreases.
