Sleepover: reWake by BLits Games APK Full 1.0

If you were around the BL visual novel scene back in 2014, you probably remember the original Sleepover by Black Monkey Pro. It was a short but sweet story about two childhood friends and the feelings they never talked about. Fast forward to 2025, and BLits Games has brought it back as Sleepover: reWake, a full remake that keeps the heart of the original while upgrading just about everything else.

The story follows Kano, a laid-back guy still living in his small hometown, and his best friend Aki, who moved to the city for college years ago. The two drifted apart like people do when life gets in the way. Then one day, Aki texts out of nowhere wanting to meet up. What starts as a casual reunion turns into a full day and night together, basically one last sleepover. It sounds simple, and it is, but there is something really relatable about two people trying to pick up where they left off while also dealing with how much has changed between them.

The writing has been completely redone for this version and it shows. The dialogue feels more natural and the emotional beats hit harder than the original. Kano and Aki actually feel like real people with history, not just characters going through the motions. The choices you make throughout the story affect how their relationship plays out, and there are three different endings to discover. Some choices are not super obvious in terms of what outcome they lead to, which can be a little frustrating if you are going for a specific ending, but it does encourage replaying.

Visually the game looks great. All the artwork has been remastered and there are over 30 new scene images. The character sprites are expressive and the backgrounds do a good job of setting the small town vibe. The UI has also been completely redesigned to match the mood of the game, which is a nice touch that a lot of visual novels overlook.
The biggest addition here is full voice acting, which was not in the original at all. It adds so much to the experience. Hearing the characters actually talk during emotional scenes makes everything feel more personal and engaging. On top of that, you get a gallery to revisit unlocked artwork, a sprite viewer for checking out character designs, and a music player with the full soundtrack including a remastered version of the original theme song.

It is a short experience at around one to two hours per playthrough, so do not go in expecting a 20 hour epic. But for what it is, Sleepover: reWake does a really solid job of telling an intimate, emotional story about reconnecting with someone who mattered to you. If you are into BL visual novels or just enjoy character-driven stories with good writing, this one is worth checking out.
